In Full Bloom

Welcome to our summer exhibition, In Full Bloom. Celebrating the strong vivid colours of the summer season. 

We are representing two new fine artists in the gallery, Claire West who is an artist based in Beverley and Stef Mitchell who is based in Staithies.

Both artist’s really challenge the use of colour, by putting pigments together you often don’t see. They both also come from a printmaking background so when you observe the paintings closely you will see collaging of monotype prints in the surface. 

Their work is displayed alongside ceramic artist’s Yvette Glaze, who uses her vessel form as a canvas. We also are displaying ceramics by Fat belly pots and Janie Ramsey. Jewellery By Issy White and Karen McMillan and textiles by From my Mothers Garden and Lucky Swallows.
