Tile 5

We are delighted to be showcasing Melanie’s beautiful work in the gallery again. I love her work and am really lucky to have three of her tiles displayed in our bathroom. Two larger pieces and one small tile the same as this size.

We love how she carves into the clay to create these beautiful intimate tiles.

The mark making is abstract but shapes of buildings and trees can be found. Her choice of colour throughout her work and the craved marks are very cleverly done. These tiles may be small but they have a huge impact when display on the wall.
