Savasana XII

Muriel’s beautiful masks are hand forged from metal, quite often copper and brass. She forges these over stakes and found objects like stones. She then uses natural patinas over the metal to create unique natural colour ways. Either with the blow torch or using liver of sulpher to create a black patina.

Each mask is totally unique and Muriel focuses on a refined aesthetic focusing on understated simplicity and raw elegance.
