Live edge spalted birch bud vas

Kevin’s beautiful wooden forms are all created using wood that was found only a few miles from his studio based in Wales. He only uses green wood, and focuses on the ever changing element of wood continually changing. His paper thin cuts create sculptural forms in his woodwork.

The thin sculptural cuts that are hand carved from three dimensional forms,  are encouraged to curve and create a wavy movement.

These vases can hold a single dried flower or be purely decorative.

The closer you look you will start to see another form inside the vessel.
