Shirley Vauvelle

Shirley’s work is an absolute favourite in the gallery. We love the way she combine’s found beach object’s, like driftwood discovered on her local beach in Scarborough and has combined this with her imprinted ceramic pieces. 

She often creates characterful illustrations in clay like birds, cats, dogs, flowers and boats, that allow us to create our own individual story.

A lot of Shirley’s latest collection features vintage maps of our local area Settle, which we feel makes this collection even more personal to the gallery.
