In the creation of enamel jewellery glass particles are fused to prepared metal through multiple high temperature firings. True vitreous enamel – as used in this piece – is the beautiful fusion of fired glass with metal, resulting in a lustrous colour and an interesting glass coating that will never change or fade.

Butterfly backs
For this collection Judit developed a technique where she uses a few layers of jewellery enamel as a base coat, and sprinkle’s enamel powder on top, allowing the enamel to ‘draw’ interesting, abstract patterns on the base layers. This technique guarantees that each item is unique and one of a kind.
