Tulip Brooch

This tulip brooch is inspired by folklore drawings of flowers. Encapsulating purple, pink and soft blue tones using enamel.

Emily has combined her painterly enamelled layering technique she often uses with her work, and set each element in silver, the same way you would set a stone. She has then created a layering process, by using with silver wire to create floral forms, that are then set on top of the enamel.

The movement of this brooch lends it self to be worn straight up or slightly at an angle, and is secured by a leaf shape brooch stopper.

Emily has created these stoppers by filling them with silicon so the brooch pin elegantly works with the design, but also is very secure when worn and easy to take on and off.

We recommend this brooch to be worn on a jacket but can also to worn on thick cotton or linen.
