We love this automator by Esther Smith which is one of her classic designs which she has made over and over again.

This Automator has been handcrafted in Cornwall and is based on the story of Jonah and the Whale – or could it be Captain Ahab and Moby Dick? Whichever, it consists of a whale breaking through waves to frighten the life out of a poor man in a boat.

We think the way Esther puts materials together and creates the moving story is so clever and feel these automators would make the perfect special gift.
