We love Emma’s vessels and think they can be displayed on their own or like in the gallery as a series going down in scale, picking out all the different colours and glazes throughout each piece.
The simplicity of each form draws you closer to the interior of each vessel and the outside plays around with the natural colour of the clay often combined with a rich blue or green glaze.
We can imagine these vessel been displayed below an abstract painting inspired by a rural landscape or the seaside.
