We find Janes work so clever, the way she puts together found objects that we often walk straight past. She steams the wood to create the round objects and then either creates these into storage pots, vessels for more found objects or insects. I can stare at Jane’s work for a long time looking how she has created each feature, whether this is a sycamore leaf sticking snuggled into one of her vessels, a metal revet holding the tree bark together or how she has used acorn as the insect eyes.
All her work creates a beautiful point of curiosity to be displayed anywhere in the home but not in a room with high condensation like a bathroom or kitchen.
