Bronte’s Lampshade

Category:

Those three sisters produced some of the world’s most popular novels. My personal favourite is Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë (and I did love Shirley and The Professor too) but many people choose Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights as the book they return to over again. But Anne Brontë was brilliant too. I recently re-read Agnes Grey and was struck by they way she described children – particularly horrible ones – clearly based on her own experience of working as a Governess for a dysfunctional family. Well, I have decided to show my appreciation of these clever siblings, along with my fondness for Haworth and the rugged beauty of West Yorkshire by creating this Papershade. I hope it appeals to everyone who shares my love for these writers and the countryside which formed them.
