We love Craig Underhill’s work in the gallery especially displayed with Lesley Birch’s abstract paintings.
His work has a beautiful organic but also geometric feel which i’m sure is inspired by his location of living in Cornwall. I can see the shapes of old swept up boat parts and industrial machinery which has eroded within the shapes and his rugged colour palette.
This is the second time we have had the honour of displaying Craig’s work and owning one piece by him myself I know they complement a variation of abstract wall work as to me he uses his slab built forms the same way an artist would use a canvas.
