Inspired by patterns found in tiles discovered on Kay’s adventures in Spain with tiny apatite beads adding that extra movement and glimmer to any outfit.

Handmade vitreous enamel earrings. Inspired by the shell symbol, Spanish fan (abanico) and repeating patterns seen on my travels around Spain. The earrings have a sterling silver soldered hook and connecting rings; a semi-precious blue stone, apatite, is attached with silver wire to the quatrefoil design.
Length, excluding earring hook = 5cm
Vitreous enamel has been repeatedly kiln fired onto the copper design shapes at a temperature of around 830 degrees centigrade.
