Lisa Ellul

We are really pleased to be displaying Lisa’s beautiful hand printed botanical ceramic tile’s. She is one of our artists we will be displaying in our Spring/ summer exhibition, but we were a little bit impatient so decided to introduce her tiles early. We love the natural colours combined with a black oxide and a hint of either matt blue glaze or 22ct yellow gold leaf. 

Her work is inspired by her home environment in particular her garden, which her studio overlooks based in the peak district. She observes the structures and pattern formations found in leaves, flowers and tree bark to create organic forms and also repeated patterns.
