Learn the Ancient Jewellery technique Sand casting with Ciara Bowles

Explore this ancient technique of pouring molten metal into a mould formed in sand.

Throughout this one day workshop we will go on a short walk to find found objects such as leaves, bark, acorns and twigs. We will then press these into a sand mould to create interesting charms. We will also have other man made objects that you can also press into the sand to create silver charms of your choice.

You will learn how to pour molten metal into a mould and create one of a kind casts.

This workshop is for an intermediate level jeweller we recommend previous jewellery experience.
