Learn how to saddle stitch and create your very own leather belt and coin purse with Ruth Pullan

Join us for this wonderful introduction to the world of leatherwork. Ruth, who specialises in creating hand-stitched bags and accessories using high-quality British materials, will inspire and guide you through the day.

You will make two beautiful items; a belt (up to 49″) and a simple coin purse. You will learn how to; dye and prepare leather, hand stitch using the two needle saddlery method, fit buckles and other fastenings, edge and finish the leather.

It will be a fascinating and informative day, and you will learn a collection of basic skills that will enable you to go onto to apply these techniques to your own projects.
