Landscape Painting With Lesley Seeger- NEW Two Day Workshop

We are excited to be offering this two day workshop for the first time with York based artist Lesley Seeger.

Lesley is our first exhibiting artist of the year and she explore’s the landscape through pattern and colour.

Throughout this two day workshop with Lesley we will be exploring the local landscape using contemporary painting and drawing techniques and really focusing on seeing the landscape through pattern, texture and colour.  We will be sketching outside in the local surrounding landscape of Settle and then bringing these sketches into the studio to develop our sketches further.

Lesley uses a mix media approach throughout her work, so we will be using Acrylic paint, watercolours, gesso, pencils, charcoal and graphite. Lesley will also focus on the application of paint using different styles of brushes to create pattern and mark making within the landscape.
