Introduction into Fused Glass and Enamelling- NEW

Join me Emily Knight and Angela Henderson for a day of experimenting with two different glass techniques.

Fused glass and Enamelling onto metal, in the workshop spaces located in Settle Town Hall.

This day is a taster into two different glass techniques and is ideal for beginners.

We will spend half the day exploring different fused glass techniques and you will learn how to use grit and stringers to create three beautiful fused glass designs which will then be fired in Angela’s glass kiln and can then be posted our collected the week after the workshop.  The second half of the workshop will be spent with Emily where you will create three enamelled samples on copper. You will learn how the sieve virtues enamel onto copper and blonde coloured together as well as using stencils. You will then learn how to fire these in an enamelling kiln.

This workshop is also for Children over 8 and all children should be accompanied by an adult.
