Create Angular Mismatched Earrings and Apply Colour To Silver With Ruth Laird And Emily Knight

We are really excited to be offering this new workshop with Jeweller’s Ruth Laird and Emily Knight. Over this one day workshop we will be focusing on learning a series of beginners jewellery techniques as well as some advanced ones.

We will create a pair of earrings, of your choice focusing on angular designs . The earrings will incorporate two elements one textured silver element which will be scored and folded for a three dimensional form. This element will  incorporate textures that will have been applied by using hammers. Our second element will incorporate colour that has been applied by exploring enamelling techniques. This element will also involve saw piercing an interesting shape that will be complementary to your top element.

At the end of the workshop you will go away with a truly unique pair of earrings.

Capabilities 

This workshops is tailored around all capabilities  from beginners to advance jewellers. You will learn basic jewellery skills like soldering and how to make simple jewellery finding’s like jump rings and earring hooks as well as advance jewellery skills like scoring and folding and enamelling.
