Botanical Silver Clay and Enamelling Workshop With Laurie Tebbutt

Join Laurie for this fun one day workshop exploring the beautiful medium of silver clay. Create three dimensional forms in the clay using botanical flowers and leaves as imprints, once you are happy with the design you will learn how to then fire these in a kiln.

In the afternoon you will then apply colour  in the textured patterns using the process of enamelling. Laurie will guide you through the different temperatures that the colours fire at to create your chosen colour palette. You will learn how to enamel silver sections using a kiln.

Throughout this workshop you will learn a mixture of beginners jewellery techniques focusing on using silver clay, stamping, sanding, polishing and enamelling.

You will create either a set of earrings or a pendant.
