Ros Ingram

We are delighted to be representing Ros Ingram’s Mix media Ceramic Fish in the gallery. 

My first memory of Ros’s work was from my mother. My grandfather was a keen pipe smoker and when he passed away my Mum approached Ros about making my grandfathers pipe into a fish, we still treasure this piece years later and have it hanging in the window.  

Our collection of fish hang in the gallery window and alcove. I often hear people reflecting on memories when they see the old vintage tins like the Oxo cubes and china children’s mugs which often evoke memories.
