Her solo show Northern Flora was recently shown at the Ropewalk Gallery.

We are currently representing Stef’s Still life paintings. She uses her printing and photography background to collage monotype prints of flowers that are taken from the her local seascape landscape Staithes. She then creates a strong colour palette often applied by using strong vivid shapes to create space light and energy within each painting. Her work often combines beautiful mark making that is echoed from patterns found in floral forms. each piece we are representing by Stef has a strong sense of happiness and can be displayed in any home environment.

Stef works from her studios in Staithes,  alongside her husband Ian Mitchell who is also a visual artist.
