Combining Vintage and Antique Finds In Sterling Silver With Ciara Bowles and Emily Knight- NEW

We are really excited about this new workshop with Ciara Bowles and Emily Knight.

We feel this workshop is perfect for anyone who likes hoarding vintage and antique jewellery and wants to turn these pieces into one show stopping contemporary piece of jewellery.

We will start the workshop by looking at Emily and Ciara’s Vintage items like buttons, cameos, costume jewellery, beads and old tins that they have collected throughout the years. You will then have the option to work with any of these items or ones you may choose to bring with you from your own collection.

Once we have selected the items you would like to work with, we will then demonstrate claw and bezel settings in sterling silver. We will guide you through each stage and once completed these technical challenges we will then spend some time focusing on creating catches and links.

This workshop is over two weekends and we have left it open so you can decide if you would like to create a pair of earrings, a ring, necklace or bracelet.

This workshop involves designing and drawing throughout the workshop and is open to all capabilities.
