Cathy Sutherland

Cathy Sutherland is a jeweller based in Sheffield that we have had the pleasure of working with since the very first day of opening the gallery back in October 2015. Her collection has always been popular and her natural influences are very in keeping with the rural location of the gallery. 

Cathy Sutherland specialises in a very traditional jewellery technique called chasing and repousse, she creates a beautiful three dimensional textured patterns to each piece. All her pieces are so beautifully considered, you often find a polished edge alongside a pearly silvery finish, which allows the light to capture that polished edge, adding a touch of understated glamour to each piece.

Cathy’s work is often purchased for special birthdays as a keepsake gift or brides are drawn to her elegant femine style and often match her jewellery with there wedding dress.
