Deep Blue, Malham Tarn

An original painting by Kate Boyce Art encapsulating Malham Tarn in a soft evenings light. This is creating using abstract mark making of acrylic paint and pastels and if you look closely you will see original photography of drystone walls and the foliage and fauna often found within the Yorkshire dales landscape. I love how Kate has created a strong vivid colour palate throughout this painting and then in the top right hand corner you have this rusty orange ochre wave of colour creating a mountain like form.

The scale of this painting really works on a small scale creating you to closes observe all the detail she has captured within this piece.
