Welcome to our Summer Exhibition ‘Beneath The Trees’, showcasing a body of work by artists and designers inspired by the Yorkshire Dales and the wonders found in natural forms.

This theme has been explored in five different mediums paint, clay, natural fibres, mosaic and metal, and each artist has expressed this theme in their own style.

We have carefully selected work we feels sits well together Kate Boyce and Rachel Thornton our exhibiting fine artist’s, both exploring the movement of birds, water, trees and also rigid man made forms like dry stone walls and small pathways leading to hamlet’s, Rachel in Printing techniques and Kate in Mix Media collage. Our ceramicists are Christy Keeney, Emma Williams, Helen Harrison, Vivienne Ross and Phil Arthur all exploring this subject matter in a three dimensional form. Our Jewellers have created one of a kind statement pieces and include work by the talented Charlotte Whitmore, Holly Suzanna Clifford, Bea Jareno and Emily Knight. Last but not least we are pleased to welcome painter and mosaic artist Morag Archer into the gallery who has created small pictures of birds using found objects which are carefully created in a mosaic manor.

We hope you enjoy browsing this page from the comfort of your own home and if you are visiting the Settle area this summer do pop in.
