DESCRIPTION:Learn how to create your very own contemporary claw set pendant in silver. You will learn two traditional jewellery techniques with the focus being on creating a claw setting for a faceted semi precious stone of your choice in one day with Cathy Sutherland and Emily Knight.\nYou will have the option to either work with an oval or circular stone between 5mm and 8mm in scale.\nWe will spend most of the day creating a four claw setting which will be the perfect fit for your chosen stone.\nIn the afternoon we will then create a bail which will allow your stone pendant to hang beautifully from the silver chain provided.\nThis workshop is for all capabilities but previous jewellery experience is preferred.\nPlease email emily@studiovault.co.uk if you would like to work in gold, instead of silver. There will be an additional cost for working in gold which will be discussed closer to the workshop.\nAll materials except gold are included in this workshop and lunch is also provided.\n \n \n
