SUMMARY:Create a Papier Mache Wire Head With Joanna Coupland – Two days
DESCRIPTION:We are really pleased to running a workshop again with the talented Joanna Coupland’s, but this time over two days and making our very on head. Her creation’s are an instant winner in the gallery, and if you are also a fan please consider doing this workshop as it is a lot of fun.\nThroughout this two day workshop we will be learning a range of techniques.\nStarting off by creating wire forms of the heads we want to create and really focussing on drawing with wire, and using pliers to create the illustrative drawings. These will then be covered with paper mache and left to dry overnight.\nOn the Sunday we will be fully focussing on painting and heads and Joanna will demonstrate some of her painting techniques. These will then be finished off by applying, found objects like; feathers, flowers and sequins with the guidance and advice from Jo.\nAt the end of this workshop you will go away with a finished head that is worthy of displaying over your mantle piece, as well as an insight into the way this talented artist works.\nHead over to https://studiovault.co.uk/joanna-couplands/ to see her Wonderfull creations.\nLunch and all materials are included.\nYou will receive a reminder email from Emily the week before this workshop starts which will include more information about the course.\n \n
