SUMMARY:Beginners six week jewellery block
DESCRIPTION:Learn a series of beginners jewellery techniques with Emily Knight for six weeks every Wednesday morning.\nThis block is for total beginners who are keen to learn jewellery techniques.\nWhat you will learn\nWe will be learning all the basic jewellery skills like soldering, creating jump rings, silver bands, setting stones, texturising silver with hammers as well as the rolling mill we will also explore enamelling.\nWhat we will create\nWe will start the block by learning how to create your very own silver stacking rings. We will create three, two plan rings with textured details and then one ring we will learn how to set a stone. We will be setting  round cabochon stone’s of your choice. The ring stacks will take three sessions\nWe will then move on to creating either a pendant or a pair of earrings and learn how to texture metal using a rolling mill. Once you have experimented with applying textures onto the metal we will then either create these into a pendant or a pair of earrings. We will also learn the process of creating findings like jump rings and earning hooks. This will take two sessions.\nWe will finish off this block with a very short introduction into enamelling.\nThe workshop includes \nAll materials and tools included.
